How it looks

Pick a theme, make text bigger, and decide whether dark mode should kick in at night.

Theme

Twelve themes split between light and dark families. The day/night button at the top of every page flips between any theme and its dark counterpart.

Custom Light accents

Tap any colour to edit it. Saving picks one of the Custom themes if neither variant is active yet — the daylight toggle at the top of every page still flips between Custom Light and Custom Dark.

Heading font

Pick the serif used for recipe titles + section headings. Non-default choices lazy-load from Google Fonts on first use.

What you see

Control how many recipes appear per page on browse and search results.

Recipes per page

Front page

Pick what loads when you visit the site root. All Recipes shows your personal library (Favourites / Cooked / Recently viewed); Collections shows the editor's picks and your saved collections.

Sections

Drag a row to reorder, or drag it across to move a section between All Recipes and Collections. Use the toggle on the right to hide a section completely. The arrow buttons work as a keyboard / touch fallback when dragging isn't convenient.

Allergens

Flag the allergens that matter to you. Detection is best-effort - always read the full ingredients list before cooking.

Hide from lists

Tick an allergen to drop recipes that contain it from every list page.

Recipe page extras

Optional add-ons for the recipe page. All off by default to keep recipes uncluttered.
